Most

I watched a film last night that touched me on a deep level. A film that masterfully depicts the love of a father for his son.

Most (Czech for the Bridge) beautifully portrays the love and pain of a father, and his journey of sacrifice so that many might live.

It brought to mind the words of 1 John 3:1-2,

How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when he appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.

I showed this film to my junior high students and they were pretty blown away by it. The coolest thing is that the film was produced by Billy Zabka (Johnny from Karate Kid)
