Jesus?

Who is Jesus to you? Is He your savior? Is He your friend, does He help advance your cause, is He an icon on your necklace? Is He American? According to this article there seems to be some confusion.

How sad.

Bottom line..."...the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." Matthew 20:28

Thank you Jesus.

First of all, I can't believe anyone has not commented on this article. If people would read the Bible they could see what God's views about issues then and now. And things have not changed much since Roman times. It is obvious that the writer does not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, or he would be saying things a bit differently!

So, now if the article's author speaks about "what America has done with Jesus" it'll make America look bad?

I'm sorry, but it's a little more serious than national pride here.

And let's go back to the part where sometimes people "speak for Jesus' and it doesn't make sense." Yeah, that's pretty true. Even when Jesus spoke for himself, a lot of his words were tough. Tough words while living in a tough time in an unfriendly culture.

Our culture is so much more friendly than that, but it's the kind of friendship that you can't say anything radical or you'll **** someone off...

Of course, Jesus said so much about following him...

note - when I went to type in the word verification letters, they spelled out "Fox BS" -- is that some sort of political statement?"
